The Alliance for the Great Lakes is inviting everyone to take part in its annual Adopt a Beach cleanup effort next month as part of the International Coastal Cleanup. They include events at Silver Beach on August 14, New Buffalo City Beach on August 20, and Jean Klock Park on September 12. The Alliance for the Great Lakes is also asking people to host their own cleanups at beaches, parks, trails, and marinas.
