The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that they will be wearing their new "Rivalries" uniforms on Sunday, Nov. 1 at home for their 1 p.m. Nike and the NFL first dropped "Rivalries" uniforms in 2025, with AFC East and NFC West teams sporting them for intra-division games. According to Andrew Lind of SportsLogos.net, the NFL will unveil this season's "Rivalries" uniforms for all eight AFC South and NFC North teams on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Lions team president Rod Wood spoke at the league's annual meetings about the jerseys (h/t Lions senior writer Tim Twentyman). "They are very cool," Wood said.
