U Mobile has scored several significant 5G wins in Opensignal’s latest Malaysia Mobile Network Experience report, as the telco continues to roll out its own ULTRA5G network. According to Opensignal, U Mobile had performed strongly across several 5G metrics, covering areas such as network quality, speed, availability and coverage experience. This means the latest results does not provide a complete picture of the U Mobile 5G experience after leaving DNB. When it comes to 5G coverage, all telcos are declared as joint winners with the same score of 3.75. After U Mobile’s exit from DNB in July, some customers may experience 5G coverage gaps which were previously covered by DNB.
