RIO RANCHO, N.M. – St. Felix Pantry has launched a $40 raffle for a $25,000 AC unit with installation as it works to support the food needs of more than 600 guests a week. During the holidays, food pantries often see strong donations, but St. Felix Pantry leaders said this time of year brings a greater need for food and money. The pantry in Rio Rancho has teamed up with Affordable Service for the raffle. State law does not allow online ticket sales for the raffle, so people must go to the pantry or Affordable Service to buy a ticket. The drawing is set for Aug. 22 at the Rio Rancho Events Center.
