Yet, discussions around executive education often remain limited to whether institutions should introduce more AI-focused courses. For years, executive education was largely viewed as a pathway to leadership roles, career progression or specialised expertise. Working professionals enter executive education with different experiences, responsibilities and career aspirations. Executive education derives much of its value from faculty expertise, peer discussion, mentorship, debate and the exchange of real-world experiences. Executive education must therefore evolve on two levels.
