The spirit was founded in 2023 and has since taken home several honors, earning a gold medal and a 93-point rating in the 2025 Bartender Spirits Awards, and was also named Best Spirit by Value. Don Fulano took the title of best extra añejo at the 2024 New York World Spirits Competition and also won best tequila of the year at the 2022 London Spirits Competition. Atheras Spirits was founded in 2024 and has already gained notoriety at the 2025 New York International Spirits Competition where Atheras Sykophilos was named one of the top 20 liqueurs of the year just one year after its debut.
