Councillor Philip Evans, mayor of Lyme Regis, said he was distraught to hear that the Red Arrows had cancelled their appearance. Stepping in to fill the slot are the 'world famous' Red Barrows, a fundraising display team from Bradninch, Devon. The group will perform at the same time the Red Arrows were set to appear. Flight Lt. Cyclone, a member of the Red Barrows, said: "This is the first time we have actually replaced the Red Arrows at a major event and we are delighted to support the RNLI. Organisers have described the loss of the Red Arrows as a serious blow, but have confirmed that the rest of Lifeboat Week will go ahead as planned.
