(ABC 6 News) — The Rochester Police Department said no legal action is being taken at this time after an alleged altercation took place at the Jeremiah Program over the weekend involving Rochester mayoral candidate Ayub HajiOmar.
Jeremiah Program allows low-income single mothers and their children to pursue their dreams in a safe and stable environment.
Resident Emily Hanson said she could usually count on her apartment building at the Jeremiah Program being secure.
And because we do–all of us here in the building are aware you don’t let people follow you into the building,” Hanson said.
One of the remaining questions is whether HajiOmar was legally allowed to enter the Jeremiah Program building.
