Infrastructure Saudi Arabia launches 246km Rafha-Hail Road ByThe link has been designed to strengthen the Kingdom’s land transport network by improving connectivity between its northern and central regionsSaudi Arabia has announced the 246km Rafha-Hail Road. The road is said to expand the Kingdom’s transport network with a new route linking Rafha to Hail through the Hail-Baqaa Road, and represents a vital artery within the Kingdom’s interregional road connectivity network. Once fully complete, the road corridor will connect directly to the 414km Hail-Madinah Direct Road. The road will serve pilgrims and Umrah performers arriving from the northern regions of Saudi Arabia and neighbouring countries through a direct route passing through Madinah before continuing to Makkah, said a report by the Saudi Press Agency. It will also enhance transportation efficiency and supports logistics movement through the Kingdom’s different regions.
