A MAN has died and two people are receiving treatment for injuries in hospital following a collision in Co. Cavan. A car and a van collided on the N3 at Drummallaght, between Virginia and Cavan, Co. Cavan, shortly before 2pm on August 10. The man driving the car, who was aged in his 60s, died in the collision. A woman, also aged in her 60s, who was a passenger in the car, was seriously injured in the incident. The man driving the van, who is aged in his 50s, was taken to Cavan General Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
