South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) remains at scenes across the region, including a large-scale blaze at Llangynidr Reservoir, near Ebbw Vale. Several communities are affected by drifting smoke, including Blaenavon, Brynmawr, Cwmbran, Newport, and Pontypool. Firefighters from both South Wales and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service have been working to contain the fire and protect surrounding land.
