The case of Mohammed Ali, aged 34 and of Hollin Terrace in Huddersfield, was dealt with by Mold Magistrates Court on Monday morning. His solicitor, Shamyla Hussain, entered a guilty plea to one offence of speeding on his behalf; the defendant having not attended the hearing in person. Prosecutor Brian Robinson told the court that the defendant had been clocked on the A494 between Deeside and Garden City at a speed of 57mph, the limit there being 50. Ms Hussain told the court: "I ask you to take into account his guilty plea. He received three more for the speeding offence, as well as orders to pay a £65 fine, £26 victim surcharge, and £130 costs.
