Michael Kors fell in love with ­theater as a little kid, when his parents took him to see his first musical on Broadway. Now, 60 years later, Kors and his husband Lance Le Pere go to the theater on a more than regular basis. Kors describes this fall’s collection as all about “the entrance-making that I think women love to do.” I wanted to show that through women I love, women for whom everyone stops and turns when they walk into a room.” Thanks to the presence of Galloway and Kors, McDonald said this particular experience was enjoyable, even joyous.
