K Shoes Male Voice Choir, based in Cumbria, first performed the song titled Cumbria in late 2025 and recently dedicated it to the Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association (LDSMRA). The choir has pledged to hold a concert in each of the ten mountain rescue areas across the county over the next three to four years. The choir first performed Cumbria in late 2025 and has since added it to their regular repertoire. Formal adoption of the song by LDSMRA will take place on October 31 at the Castle Street Centre, Kendal. The song is already proving popular with audiences, and both the choir and the association hope it will help raise awareness and funds for mountain rescue efforts across the Lake District.
