Connor Ellis, aged 19 and of Ffordd Thomas Gee in Denbigh, was sentenced in his absence by Mold Magistrates Court on Monday afternoon. Prosecutor Brian Robinson told the court that the incident happened on December 12 last year in the car park of Aldi in Denbigh. Mr Robinson said the driver, Ellis, stopped and was "very upset" by what had happened. Following a scan, it was confirmed that Ms Weston had sustained a clean metatarsal break in her foot. Ellis told the court he is a full time university student with a clean driving licence and "no consistent income."
