Samara Weaving has firmly established herself as a legit Scream Queen with her roles in the Ready or Not franchise and Scream VI. This comes after a recent slew of casting additions, including Lydia Peckham, who will reunite with filmmaker Wes Ball after starring in 2024's Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The Legend of Zelda follows Link, a young warrior destined to protect the magical kingdom of Hyrule from the forces of darkness. The Legend of Zelda cast is led by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda. As noted, The Legend of Zelda is directed by Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes filmmaker Wes Ball and is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 7, 2027.
