The new eatery, grain kitchen & bar, calls itself a "modern British restaurant with global influences". It serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails and offers a menu featuring handcrafted pizzas, premium steaks, fresh pasta and more. It comes less than a week after the Italian restaurant that was at the same location, Mangiare Ely, closed on August 2. Customers said they were "gutted" at the closure of Mangiare, but have been expressing their excitement at the opening of the new restaurant. The menu offers classics like fish and chips and pie of the day alongside fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza, steaks, salads and small plates.
