How clean are these popular bathing spots? Latest water test results revealed

Fishguard and Goodwick Town Council is once again working with Pembrokeshire County Council and the NHS to test bathing water at Goodwick and Lower Town Fishguard.
The latest results from July, 30 are "excellent", according to the Town Council.
In Lower Town Fishguard recorded E.coli at 2 cfu/100ml and enterococci at 5 cfu/100ml.
A spokesperson for Fishguard and Goodwick Town Council said: "The Town Council are working again this year with Pembrokeshire County Council and the NHS to test the quality of the bathing water in Goodwick and Lower Town Fishguard.
"The latest test results, from 30th July 2026, would be classed as excellent".
