According to AzerNEWS, the 5th International Conference and Exhibition, Black and Caspian Freight Forum 2026: Corridors, Infrastructure, Investments, will be held on September 7–9 at the Four Seasons Hotel Baku. A central theme of the forum will be the development of the Middle Corridor, also known as the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, which connects China and Central Asia with the South Caucasus, Türkiye and Europe. The initiative is expected to be discussed alongside broader questions surrounding the development of international transport corridors and the changing geography of trade across Eurasia. Investment in ports, railway networks and other transport infrastructure will also feature prominently on the forum's agenda. The organisers have also invited members of the media to cover the Black and Caspian Freight Forum 2026.
