It builds on the success of the wider Carmarthenshire Tourism Ambassador Programme and aims to create a connected network of tourism champions who promote Carmarthenshire’s culture, heritage, landscapes, and attractions. Nine businesses were selected to take part in the pilot, with the National Wool Museum in Drefach Felindre the first to complete the programme and receive its award. As part of the recognition, the museum will display window stickers and PR to celebrate its new status. The National Wool Museum is marking 50 years of preserving and sharing Wales’ industrial heritage. The museum staged a Family Show at Pentre’r Garreg Las during the National Eisteddfod in Llantwd, Pembrokeshire, on Sunday, August 2.
