The discussions were held during a meeting between Azerbaijani customs officials and a delegation from the Turkish Customs Enforcement General Directorate, led by Deputy Head Yaşar Baltac. The participants also discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation aimed at accelerating transit operations and improving the efficiency of cargo transportation along the Middle Corridor. As part of the visit, members of the Turkish delegation also visited the State Customs Committee’s Academy, the Main Department of Customs Control for Air Transport, and the Canine Center. They also received detailed information on the customs authorities’ activities in the canine sector and the organization of customs procedures in air transport.
