This includes 12 community mental health centres offering walk-in support without referral and five mental health emergency departments.
The rollout follows the success of the mental health urgent care centre at Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
Karen Taylor, chief executive at HPFT, said: "Our Hertfordshire Mental Health Urgent Care Centre has transformed how people access support during a mental health crisis.
"We have seen a 30% reduction in mental health attendances at the local emergency departments, giving Hertfordshire some of the lowest mental health attendances at A&E in the country."
Of up to 159 new centres across England, 100 will be community-based and 59 will be mental health emergency departments.
