NISSWA — The idea to host a first-ever National Night Out in Nisswa was posed just after July 4, and within a month the event was pulled together to the delight of organizers.
Steve Nielsen, Camp NisswaEmma Krueger, owner of A&W Restaurant in Nisswa, pitched the idea to Kalie Jay, Nisswa Chamber president; Steve Nielsen, of Camp Nisswa; and the Nisswa police and fire departments.
