— Authorities have released the names of two Colorado residents who died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash near Deadwood.
The crash occurred at 6:27 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, on U.S. Highway 14A at mile marker 47, about 4 miles east of Deadwood.
U.S. Highway 14A was closed for approximately three hours.

Rector and his passenger, Susan Renee Rector, 54, also of Frederick, were not wearing helmets and sustained fatal injuries.
