— South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says he met with a number of law enforcement agencies ahead of the rally to ensure that everyone is safe.
In downtown Sturgis, Jackley said there will be extra law enforcement patrolling the downtown area.
He also thanked local law enforcement for keeping people safe.
ADVERTISEMENT"When you walk the streets of Sturgis, you'll see groups of four of five law enforcement officers there if anybody needs anything," Jackley said.
He also asks those driving in their cars to be extra cognizant of bikers by slowing down and giving bikers extra room.
