Husband and wife team Salim and Hadis Willshire have opened Mango Mood in Shrieves Walk, in Stratford, where their speciality is mango sticky rice, inset. Explaining the dish, Salim added: “Mango sticky rice is steamed rice so it has a nice chewy texture, soaked in coconut milk. The taste test…I’ve had mango and I’ve had sticky rice but until a visit to Mango Mood, I’d never combined the two. Mango Sticky Rice at Mango Mood is £7.90, with smoothies and lemonades ranging from £3.80 to £6.50.
