The managed goats will cover just over four acres and aim to control unwanted and invasive vegetation such as honeysuckle, poison ivy, poison oak, and other nuisance plant species. The grazing process offers several environmental benefits including no use of poisonous herbicides, reduced risk of erosion, natural suppression of invasive plant regrowth, and natural fertilization. Residents and visitors are encouraged to observe the goats from a safe distance with signage being placed just about 20 yards from grazing zones.
