Anthony Knight, who began performing in London churches in aid of UNICEF, will perform at St John’s Church on Park Street in Taunton at 1pm on Wednesday, August 19. The St John’s Church recital will include a selection of pieces, including Schubert’s Ave Maria, the theme from Schindler’s List by John Williams, and Meditation from Thaïs by Massenet. Anthony's Pilgrimage of Hope began during his second year of study at the Royal College of Music and has seen him play in 64 churches so far, with 19 more appearances scheduled. She said: "As you continue your pilgrimage through London’s churches, may God bless you with grace and joy. Mr Knight is currently touring churches across Somerset and recently performed at Taunton Minster during a contemplative evening service on Sunday, July 26.
