Chicago police were investigating after two people were shot on the city's Near North Side, fire officials said Monday night. The shooting happened at around 9 p.m. on West Chicago Avenue near North Dearborn Street. People nearby told NBC Chicago they heard up to 20 shots fired. Chicago police had yet to provide any information late Monday night.
