Dressing for the city in the middle of summer is a balancing act. A typical summer wardrobe has to work through a walk in the city centre, an afternoon coffee, dinner outside and an evening by the Caspian. They are cool enough for the heat but do not immediately read as beachwear, which makes them useful for the city. Wide-leg and fluid shapes remain strong, and they are particularly suited to a city where summer temperatures make tight denim less appealing. In Baku, they can work with a city dress just as easily as with linen trousers.
