HONESDALE — Caden Cuozzo had a smile as the team and cheerleaders showered his younger brother Noah with a spirited rendition of “Happy Birthday” during Lakeland’s postgame gathering. On Saturday, motivated to have a good performance in his brother’s honor, Cuozzo ran for 52 yards and a touchdown and made several key stops on defense. He helped spark the fourth-ranked Chiefs to a 31-6 win over Honesdale in a Lackawanna Football Conference Division II game. Honesdale scored the first touchdown of the game when Kobe White sprinted 49 yards with 8:32 remaining in the first quarter. Duda led Honesdale with 84 yards rushing, and White finished with 58 yards rushing and 24 yards receiving.
