Venezuela activated this Monday its School Reconstruction Plan to rehabilitate 1,000 educational facilities damaged by the recent seismic doublet. The program covers the comprehensive repair of 1,000 school facilities nationwide affected by the seismic doublet and by the impact of the external economic blockade on public infrastructure. The plan also contemplates the complete reconstruction of 11 facilities that collapsed entirely under a special construction program. In La Guaira: 167 schools affected, 11 collapsed. ​With the “Bricomiles” we made progress in the recovery of educational facilities affected by the strong earthquakes of last June 24.
