Letter to the editor: Disposing of unwanted mail
['Eliot Orton']
Steamboat Pilot & Today
I’ve noticed a reoccurring trend of unwanted mail being tossed on top of already overflowing trash bins at our Steamboat Springs post office.
One of the things that makes the Yampa Valley special is our tradition of looking out for one another, showing kindness and taking pride in our community.
The post office isn’t an abstract federal institution; it’s a place staffed by our neighbors and used by all of us.
The Yampa Valley spirit is something worth preserving, but it depends on each of us doing our part.
Please dispose of unwanted mail responsibly and help set an example that reflects the best of Steamboat Springs.
