On Sunday last week, a friendly 40 over game was played at a cricket ground in Luton to raise money for Feed Up Warm Up. Spearheaded by St John Fishers Cricket Club in St Albans, players at the Cricket of Hope match included professional footballer David James, former England international cricketer Monty Panesar, and football managers Alex Revell and Mick Harford. Founded by Shane Cole in 2018, Feed Up Warm Up provides drop-in centres and food banks in Stevenage and Hitchin for people who are homeless. Tom Davison, 14 and from Stevenage, volunteered at Feed Up Warm Up's Hitchin food bank for three months while completing his bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.
