The library operates on a simple principle to 'take a book, leave a book,' with no library card or registration required. Set on a brick plinth built by parish council head groundsman Tim, the library was officially unveiled by Rifaqat Zarait, the Mayor of Slough. She said: "I wanted the Little Library to feel like the beginning of an adventure. "The dragon, the treasure map and the open book are there to spark curiosity and encourage children to explore.
