TfL also directs passengers to its service delay refund system, while Customer Services can be contacted where necessary. TfL's current Conditions of Carriage specifically state that the Tube delay refund provision does not include delays caused by strike action. Refunds are also not given under the standard service delay scheme where delays are caused by circumstances outside TfL's control. Passengers are also not entitled to a service delay refund for disruption resulting from planned service changes or engineering works. This is separate from the straightforward service delay refund rules and will depend on the circumstances.
