An eyewitness, who wishes to remain anonymous, has shared their experience of an ongoing blaze which engulfed a warehouse in Venutra Park, Colney Street, this morning (August 11). The employee works near to the "Malibu" building which is believed to be at the centre of the fire. "I was working in a building diagonally opposite, we noticed people running out, there were some screams." (Image: Dan Connor)Deputy chief fire officer Mark Barber told The Herts Advertiser: "We are currently responding to a fire at a large industrial unit in Ventura Park, Old Parkbury Lane, Colney Street, St Albans. Road closures are also in place in Colney Street and Old Parkbury Lane, with motorists advised to avoid the area.
