West Mercia Police said the crash happened on the A4111 Eardisley road, near Kington, at around 8.45am on Sunday (August 9). It involved a KTM 890 Duke motorcycle and a lorry, with the biker, a man in his 60s, pronounced dead at the scene. The biker had been riding with a group of around five other motorcyclists shortly before the crash, police said. Officers are now appealing for witnesses who may have seen the group of motorcyclists before the collision. "Sadly, nothing could be done to save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
