Elizabeth line Heathrow disruption hits second day as services heavily reduced

The affected lines are used by both the Elizabeth line and Heathrow Express, with passengers being advised to expect delays, cancellations and changes to their journeys. Elizabeth line passengers are being told to expect a "heavily reduced service" between Abbey Wood and Heathrow Terminal 4. Trains are running only at 24 and 54 minutes past the hour from Abbey Wood, and at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour from Terminal 4. Heathrow Express passengers are facing similar restrictions, with only two trains per hour running in each direction. Services depart Paddington at 10 and 40 minutes past the hour and Terminal 5 at 12 and 42 minutes past the hour.
