Emergency services were called to a collision between a motorbike and car on the Crimea Pass, between Dolwyddelan and Blaenau Ffestiniog, yesterday afternoon (August 9). Police have confirmed a 58-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and they are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.32pm yesterday (9th August) to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike on the A470 Crimea Pass between Dolwyddelan, and Blaenau Ffestiniog. "Officers attended alongside colleagues from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and Welsh Ambulance Services University Health Trust and the road was closed. "Sadly, the 58 year old motorcyclist was pronounced deceased.
