Walking down Lincoln Avenue in the devastating heat, it’s been depressing to pass so many shops with their doors propped open and cold air rushing out. As these air conditioners struggle to cool the outside world, they are, ironically, contributing to making it even hotter! I wish our Chamber of Commerce would strongly discourage this. After all, these same shop owners will want skiers and winter snow in five months!
