Retailers Against Crime (RAC) has launched a billboard campaign to educate the public about retail crime techniques and encourage greater vigilance. Chandra Pollock, interim chief executive of Let's Go Glasgow BID, said: "Let's Go Glasgow is proud to support Retailers Against Crime and JCDecaux in bringing this community awareness campaign to Glasgow city centre. Police Scotland’s Glasgow Retail Crime Taskforce has also endorsed the campaign. Sergeant Ross McBurney said: "The Retail Crime Taskforce works closely with partners such as Retailers Against Crime to tackle shop theft and offences against retail workers. Retailers Against Crime, founded in 1997, focuses on preventing and detecting crime by sharing intelligence with partners across the UK.
