"We sincerely hope that our work will ensure that HMS Tiger, her story and the memory of those connected with her endure for future generations." They added that the group welcomed proposed changes in the new Armed Forces Bill to strengthen protection for military wrecks. Under the proposals, newly discovered military wrecks including HMS Tiger could receive an automatic “protected place” designation, making it an offence to disturb or remove items from the site without permission.
