Minister of Educational Transformation Chad Blackman says the time has come to decolonise Barbados’ education system and prepare young people for the next 60 years. Speaking at the start of Education Month, he said Barbados has inherited an education system under a colonial influence that has shaped how we see ourselves, and this must change.
