There is an increase in dog collections for the Animal Control Centre in Barbados, that’s the word from Animal Control Officer Andrea Callendar. Speaking at a Paws for Health event at the Coverly Playing Field, Callendar said over the last year, the calls have increased significantly for persons who want to surrender their dogs. She said while the collections have increased, the stray dogs problem is also one that has grown in the last year.
