Cory Golob, KU1U, of Sabattus, Maine, has been appointed as the ARRL Maine Section Manager as of August 3, 2026. Golob succeeds Philip Duggan, N1EP, who concluded his term as Section Manager on June 30 after serving since December 2021. “I want to do the very best for amateur radio in the ARRL Maine Section and build on what our previous Section Manager, Phil Duggan has accomplished,” said Golob. “One club per school, giving the next generation of amateur radio operators the knowledge and skills they need to build for the future.” Golob is active in the ARRL Field Organization as an Official Relay Station and has served as an Assistant Section Manager and Affiliated Club Coordinator.
