The Michigan Daily
It had been 679 days since Rod Moore played in Michigan Stadium.
Snagging an interception in his first game back, Moore’s highlight play was reminiscent of 679 days prior where — on the last snap Moore played in Michigan Stadium before Saturday — he made the game-sealing interception against Ohio State.
Rod’s return to Michigan Stadium was about much more than an interception or making plays only a veteran could.
No matter what, Saturday’s game against the Badgers would have been Rod’s first game returning to Michigan Stadium.
But thanks to the interception, Rod Moore officially had his welcome back.
