The NBA announced its 2026 Christmas Day slate early Tuesday morning, and for the third straight season, the Minnesota Timberwolves are a part of the festivities. The Timberwolves will welcome the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7 p.m. CT on Christmas Day, the fourth matchup of the NBA’s five-game slate. The Charlotte Hornets are the only active NBA team never to play on Dec. 25. All of that culminates in a season of excitement for the Timberwolves that the NBA is rewarding with the franchise’s first home Christmas Day game.
