Wales & West Utilities says a project to replace gas pipes in the London Road area of Stroud is progressing well after work began last month. These include two-way traffic lights on London Road, which are due to remain in place until August 28, and a road closure on Toadsmoor Road between August 10 and August 21. However, an SNJ reporter found it was possible to drive on Toadsmoor Road on Monday. The closure was due to run for just over 50 metres from the property known as Montrow to London Road. Ryan Barkway, who is managing the project for Wales & West Utilities, said the work had been timed to reduce disruption.
