Other area teams in the field were Amherst (10th with 285), Avon Lake (27th with 698) and Lorain (28th with 862). “Going into this, we already knew that Wadsworth is always a good team, along with Medina, and so on,” said Avon coach Justin Carroll. For those keeping track, that’s a split of 26 seconds from runners 1-5, 11 seconds from runners 2-6, and just over 2 seconds from runners 3-6. North Olmsted placed 17th with 488, while Avon was 20th with 568 and Lorain was 28th with 868.
